In the land of my Father's Father
(Liles)

In the land of my Father's Father
Whoever he was it never concerned me

Grandma's monkey was too vicious to keep
...and Mother's Mother's Auntie lived in a shack and wrote poetry on the beach

In the land of my Father's Father
The one he'd like to meet

A triumph for the English bull terrier - bruised and bleeding
(Red Herald)

Picking berries for Mother
In the land of my Father's Father

Another shift in this Universe
(McDowall/Liles)

After the Journey
Two Mountains no less
To little too Far

While I was rearranging the Universe
He was flaming his eye

I can no longer see with clarity
Vision once Clear
Blurs into Obscurity

Tears of tar for his little glass jar
Streams of emotion slip into the Ocean

Another shift in this Universe
Whilst pebbles fall we dance

In this tiny town close to my heart
In this quiet village where I will stay

In my Garden
A Rose in bloom

At the end of my garden where strangers sleep
At the end of my garden when again we shall meet
... when again we shall meet

Old Tom's Marrow
(Liles)

There is a war in the garden today
It began when grandfather passed away

There's strangulation and decapatation
Pestilence, disease and DEATH
There are rotten roots and decaying fruits
The roses wilted and gave up breath

The absence of green fingers means silage malingers ...and omits an unhealthy smell
Flies feast and thistles grow unabated
Grandad's garden has become HELL

Rusted brackets, birds' shattered eggs
and a broken wheelbarrow
What became of old Tom's prize winning marrow?

There is a war in the garden today
It began when grandfather passed away

A Musty Smell on Jermyn Street
(Liles)

As I walked among the dust
I was overcome by LUST

A Musty Smell on Jermyn Street
I want more than cheese to eat
I want more than cheese to eat
I want more than cheese to eat
I want more than cheese to eat

A Musty Smell on Jermyn Street
I want more than cheese to eat
I want more than cheese to eat
I want more than cheese to eat
I want more than cheese to eat

Fromage Afraid! Fromage Afraid!
