1.) WHICH RECORD HAS HAD THE MOST PROFOUND INFLUENCE ON YOU?
Venom “Black Metal” shook my foundations and G.I.S.M. “Detestation” made sure they’re still unstable.
2.) HOW MANY HOURS DO YOU SPEND A WEEK RECORDING/PLAYING/CREATING?
These days my creativity is partly consumed by my 1 1/2 year old daughter Niko Julika, so it’s much less than before but the writing is an ever ongoing process that will disturb my mental being for as long as I live.
3.) WHICH OF YOUR OWN CREATIONS IS YOUR FAVOURITE?
That would be “Dark Night of The Soul” for some obscene reason…
4.) WHAT IS YOUR BIGGEST REGRET?
I never saw G.I.S.M. live. Regrets are usually a waste of future time though.
5.) WHAT DO YOU DO TO RELAX?
I read crime books and I listen to good music and I have fun with my daughter and lovely wife. And then there’s all the mental stuff I can not put in writing which is also the opposite of relaxing. Hmmmm. To truly relax I have to keep my mind constantly occupied from itself.
6.) OTHER THAN FRIENDS AND FAMILY WHAT IS YOUR MOST CHERISHED POSSESSION?
My SG and my G.I.S.M. vinyl collection and my cardboard Kiss “Love Gun”, hehehe…and the books of David T.
7.) TELL ME THREE OF YOUR HEROES/HEROINES?
George Jones, George Jones and David Allan Coe. Yes, George Jones twice. Oh and sorry, probably David Tibet for his vastness.
8.) WHERE IS YOUR FAVOURITE PLACE IN THE WORLD?
9.) IF YOU DIDN’T HAVE YOUR ART WHAT OCCUPATION DO YOU THINK YOU WOULD BE DOING?
I would like to see myself with a small goat farm in the mountains.
10.) IF THERE IS ONE THING THAT YOU WOULD WANT THE WORLD TO KNOW ABOUT YOU THAT YOU HAVE NEVER CONVEYED IN AN INTERVIEW BEFORE WHAT WOULD THAT BE?
I like to keep myself out of the void of social media so I’ll keep that with me too…the nothingness.
