Aaron Dilloway is an experimental musician. He is an improviser and composer who works with the manipulation of 8-Track tape loops in combination with voice, tape delays and various organic and electronic sound sources. He was a founding member of the noise group Wolf Eyes (1998 – 2005). Aaron now resides in Oberlin, OH where he runs Hanson Records.
1.) WHICH RECORD HAS HAD THE MOST PROFOUND INFLUENCE ON YOU?
Butthole Surfers – Brown Reason To Live. [It] Was the first “punk music” I ever heard and sent me on a lifelong journey to hunt for the most chaotic and interesting music I could.
2.) HOW MANY HOURS DO YOU SPEND A WEEK RECORDING/PLAYING/CREATING?
In my head: 25/8. In my hands: 4, if I’m lucky.

Wish I would have asked my grandparents more questions.
5.) WHAT DO YOU DO TO RELAX?
I’m not sure if I ever do… Watch goofy 70’s teen burnout movies. Skateboard. Or sit in a remote place staring at things and trying to slow things down.
