Davide Pepe was born in Puglia, Italy in 1970 and he lives and works in Bologna.
Since 1995 he has been developing, filming and producing artistic short films, music and dance videos. He also works as editor, compositor, sound designer and teaches video editing at the fine arts academy of Bologna.
Along with many others he has worked with and for Nurse With Wound, Current 93 and Diamanda Galás.

Robert Ashley “Automatic writing” is in the first position ex-aequo with ElpH vs Coil’s “Worship the glitch”.
2.) HOW MANY HOURS DO YOU SPEND A WEEK RECORDING/PLAYING/CREATING?
More than 60 hours.
3.) WHICH OF YOUR OWN CREATIONS IS YOUR FAVOURITE?
“Se potessi vedere con gli occhi di Dio” (it’s a temporary title in English should sound like “If I/YOU could see with God’s eyes”).
4.) WHAT IS YOUR BIGGEST REGRET?
Not having had the courage to publish my music at the end of the 90’s.
5.) WHAT DO YOU DO TO RELAX?
I Create music for my visual works.
6.) OTHER THAN FRIENDS AND FAMILY WHAT IS YOUR MOST CHERISHED POSSESSION?
I consider my bird as part of my family so my most cherished possession is my vinyl collection.

In alphabetical order: Diamanda Galás, Derek Jarman, David Tibet.
8.) WHERE IS YOUR FAVOURITE PLACE IN THE WORLD?
My Apartment.

That’s a parallel universe hypothesis in which I kill myself!!!
