Hush Arbors is the primary musical project of singer-songwriter/guitarist Keith Wood. His music uses traditional folk merged with elements of country and psychedelic music. He has toured with and worked with musicians including Thurston Moore, Current 93, Six Organs of Admittance, Sunburned Hand of the Man, Jack Rose, Wooden Wand and Voice of the Seven Woods.

1.) WHICH RECORD HAS HAD THE MOST PROFOUND INFLUENCE ON YOU?
Wolfking of LA by John Phillips. Been my favorite album for the past 15 years.
2.) HOW MANY HOURS DO YOU SPEND A WEEK RECORDING/PLAYING/CREATING?
I play guitar for hours a day, but haven’t been recording a lot recently. Just got a G bender for my guitar and have been putting in the hours trying to figure it out.
3.) WHICH OF YOUR OWN CREATIONS IS YOUR FAVOURITE?
I’m super stoked about most of it & really don’t have a favorite. I just really enjoy collaborating with others & have been lucky to play with a lot of rad players.
4.) WHAT IS YOUR BIGGEST REGRET?
Letting you play my guitar during C93 sound checks…. hahaha…. nah, I really don’t have any to think of, I told myself a long time ago to live with out regrets & it seems to be working out.
5.) WHAT DO YOU DO TO RELAX?
Play guitar while watching a movie and noodling around.
6.) OTHER THAN FRIENDS AND FAMILY WHAT IS YOUR MOST CHERISHED POSSESSION?
My 2 little doggies.
7.) TELL ME THREE OF YOUR HEROES/HEROINES?
Ted Berrigan, Jack Rose, Rudolph Wurlitizer.
8.) WHERE IS YOUR FAVOURITE PLACE IN THE WORLD?
I was only able to spend an afternoon in Valpariso, Chile. But I think if I could spend more time down there, it just might qualify. Prob my favorite spot in the US is Topanga State Beach, in LA.
9.) IF YOU DIDN’T HAVE YOUR ART WHAT OCCUPATION DO YOU THINK YOU WOULD BE DOING?
Maybe trying to write, or teach something.
10.) IF THERE IS ONE THING THAT YOU WOULD WANT THE WORLD TO KNOW ABOUT YOU THAT YOU HAVE NEVER CONVEYED IN AN INTERVIEW BEFORE WHAT WOULD THAT BE?
