This recording is an abstract homage to easy listening music, the sounds of Esquivel, Les Baxter and Martin Denny. A trip through 1950’s Exotica. An interpretation of mysterious desert islands, curious religious practices and strange flora and fauna.

It is also, in part, a collection of incidental music, instrumental passages and soundtrack pieces that I have imagined for ‘Crazy From The Heat’. A 1985 film that was written by and starred David Lee Roth… a film that was never made.
