Fasten your interplanetary seatbelts and get ready for an expansive sonic trip brought to you by ANDREW LILES (sometime member of Current 93). This release contains only one song that runs for about 38 minutes and starts with some hypnotic soundscapes that slowly incorporate a repetitive keyboard melody before blasting out a steady beat that gets joined by an incredibly groovy krautrock-inspired bass line with a matching atmosphere just before the 15 minute mark. The rest of the way things shift back and forth between these elements with the emphasis changing multiple times, while on occasion also making room for some spoken samples. It’s a challenging, but utterly fulfilling listening experience once you decide to just turn the lights off and go with the flow. Ronny Dijksterhuis
